Sony has released their official unboxing video for the PlayStation 4. The video, in an attempt to be cool, parodies the likes of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories album unboxing earlier this year. It also doesn’t take itself too seriously, as with many others out there (see the Xbox One unboxing below for reference). While the original video comes around as unique and fun, the remake for the PS4 is somewhat painful to witness. It doesn’t help that Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, introduces the console himself. At least they’re trying to make things interesting.
