Directed by James Mather and Stephen St. Leger and starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace, Lockout is a sci-fi set in the future and follows a man wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. He is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.
Those were weren’t convinced that Lockout was a contender for one of the best science fiction movies of the year will probably change their minds after seeing the opening 5 minute clip:
