Violence on TV

The argument that TV and movies cause or influence violence has been a heated debate for a really long time – especially when you consider the amount of violence on TV these days.

However, the logic never added up to me. In South Africa the ratio of violent teens to violence on TV (or TV owners for that matter) don’t add up. The same argument could be made regarding kids and toy guns. Would you allow your kid to run around shooting his friends? I did it and I turned out fine (well sorta).

Below is infographic based on research done in America. We would love to hear your thoughts.
